You've probably heard of newsgroups, which downloads at breakneck speeds of many files. Following are detailed explanations and a comprehensive tutorial on the newsgroups.
1 - Introduction
This tutorial is for beginners as well advanced users that wish to research the use of Newsgroups (or Usenet).
The newsgroups can download many files very quickly and automatically share the files being received (as opposed to software Peer-to-Peer as eMule). Indeed, on eMule, a user provides a file, and others just download it directly from him, these users also share the file even when they are being downloaded (they share parts of files that they already have). This system is great, but has many disadvantages:
- If there are no sources, so if anyone have the complete file it out, you can not download, even if you got 95% of the file
- The download speed is limited to the speed of shipping sources in 99% of these are conventional connections, the download speeds are often very poor
- All persons downloading the same file are connected with one another (download or mail), allowing the services of a Hadopi monitoring very easy

3 - Grabber
Grabber is a software that allows you to download files from the newsgroups NZB file (see next section) by connecting to the provider of newsgroups.

After downloading NiouzeFire here , install the software and follow the steps below (the explanation of the numbers is below the image):
1 - Click the button to add a server
2 - Address of the server, you should have received this information by email after your registration at the supplier (see Part 2)
3 - Number of connections depends on the selected offer (see the email you received and the comparative table in Part 2)
4 - Username and password (chosen when you signed up or received by email)
5 - SSL depends on the selected offer (see the email you received and the comparative table in Part 2)
6 - nickname of the server name just informative
7 - Perform a test, if it does not work, check your information before using the mail received by the supplier after you register
8 - Click OK when finished
*- You can also set more finely NiouzeFire by clicking on this button, you can for example change the download directory

4 - NZB
NZB files are files related to download these files and open with NiouzeFire to download a movie, game, etc.. Here's how to recover these NZB files:
If not already done so, please have your browser Firefox , this step is not optional, in fact we will use a plugin that exists only in Firefox.
Once installed, open Firefox, we'll install the Greasemonkey plugin, head on this page , click "Add to Firefox" and then "Install Now":
Once Greasemonkey is installed, restart Firefox. If all goes well, you can see a small monkey head on the bottom right of Firefox.

Head over to Binnews and add to your favorites (it's more convenient).
Top of the page you will find all categories, after a click on a category, here is an explanation of what you see:
1 - The codec the video file (XviD, DivX ...)

3 - The language (EN, FR ST (Subtitled FR))
4 - Small buttons added by the Greasemonkey script, to find NZB files, we will see this later (Update 01/2012: Over the same place with Better Usenet, but it does not change the principle)

We'll see how to find NZB files with an example, in our example, we want to download a VLC package:
To download a file, you must click on a button added by Better Usenet.
After the first click, we're lucky and find the file directly, if not, try with another button, so instead you have too many results, compare the file name, size and date, you should easily find the right file.
To retrieve the NZB:

The NZB file is downloaded, it is enough now to open it with NiouzeFire to start your download.

a small question about Giganews, I am registered I managed to download something so it works the other hand I try to download a file dated a hundred days or so and I can not say that the file is found as Giganews is supposed to do 1200 days retention. Why is that?
